Petrol prices up Rs 5 per liter after Polls

According to the fresh reports from the media, just after a day when state assembly election results were announced, the central government of the country has decided to increase petrol prices by Rs 5 per liter.

The increased prices are applied from the mid-night yesterday.

Meanwhile, the central government of the country has hiked the petrol price nine times since last June. The increase is one of the highest in the past few months; it will jolt the budget of every common man.

Further, some sources have told media that the government is also planning to increase diesel and domestic gas prices in the coming week or so.

IndianOIl, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum have announced to increase the prices between Rs 4.99 and Rs 5.01 per liter in the national capital with effect from midnight yesterday.

In the meantime, the government has said that this is very important for us to increase the prices. The oil ministry official said that the hike in rates is must otherwise it will be hard for the government.

its really affect the inflation ....... rate of petrol are already very high...... govt. does not see the limits of people...

i thinks ,elections are the big problem ........ after each election inflation is high...
