Kareena to wear costumes worth Rs 1.2 crores in Heroine!

Well if you aspire to look like a heroine then get ready to spend Rs 1.2 crore! According to the latest spin off from the rumour mill, Kareena Kapoor has reportedly been given a whopping Rs 1.2 crore budget for Heroine.

Bebo who plays a diva in the flick will have four costume changes in every scene, all designed by ace designer Manish Malhotra. Every scene in the film will have four costume changes. The film will have 130 costumes.

In the movie Kareena plays a diva at the prime of her career. Heroine is an extravagant project and they are leaving no stone unturned to make it look as glamorous as possible. According to the sources, Rs 5 lakh of the film's budget was previously spent on costumes that the former leading lady, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, wore, during the nine days that she shot for Heroine.

Manish Malhotra told the sources that he has never made so many costumes for one actress in his entire career, till date. After the film got shelved due to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's pregnancy, we know how Kareena Kapoor stepped in to save the project.

And it seems that with her entry the film is sure to cross all records as far as the budget on costumes and make-up is concerned!
