According to the fresh reports from the Bollywood town, the bad boy of the hindi film industry, Salman Khan, has done an add for carbonated drink Mountain Dew. And, the PepsiCo recently announced that the company will go on an aggressive move to increase the sale of the brand in the country.
Moreover, this is for the very first time when the company inked Salman Khan for Mountain Dew since it unveiled its services in India about eight years back.
While talking to media, Pepsico India Director (Flavoured Drinks Category) Alpana Titus said, “Mountain Dew has been extremely strong in the North and the West. This summer, we plan to increase our reach nationwide.”
She said, “Khan fits well with the brand and will help in scaling up our campaigns during this summer season.”
According to her, “Mountain Dew will soon launch an exciting ‘Darr Ke Aage Jeet Hai’ experiential activity for consumers across its key markets.”
Presently, the new Dew is present in the local market in number of sizes like 200ml and 300 ml returnable glass bottles, and also 500 ml, 1 liter, 2 liter and 2.25 liter PET bottles.
